Sophie our beloved cream coloured Persian cat went missing on either 14th or 15th July 2010 in the Henbury Road/Polly Barnes area of Hanham, Bristol. She has recently had her hair shorn but it is now a bit longer than it appears in the photo. She hates collars, so doesn't wear one. She is really house cat so may not be able to fend for herself very well outdoors. Obviously we are very keen to find her asap. We last saw Pele last thing Wednesday night (12th May)inside our house. It is now the 18th and we have still not seen or heard anything. We have put up posters,delivered leaflets and pounded the streets late at night calling him.We are distraught. He is a Black and White long haired neutered and microchipped 2yr old male. At the time he went missing he was wearing a camouflaged coloured collar with a green bell, however he could have lost this by now?. He has a very Bushy black tail. Both his eyes are surounded in black and the rest of his face is white. He has a pink nose with a black dot in the right side. This I would say is his distingused mark! That along with his long hair. His back is mainly black and his belly is white. He is a very friendly cat, however could be very wary if he is scared. We do have a call for him but is hard to explain ha ha, but he may also come to a noise that sounds like kisses. He has never gone missing for any longer than 24hrs and we are distraught, he is a huge part of our lives with a very funny once in a lifetime little personality. I cant stop crying. Charley is mostly white with tabby markings, he has a darkish bushy tail and back bushy legs, he is really friendly and gets on well with other cats. He has a very quiet meow and his purr is also very quiet, as if he's not purring at all. He disappeared on Friday 3rd July after playing with him on the stairs he ran outside and I never saw him again. He is only 14 months old, I had him only for 8 weeks as the elderly lady he lived with could'nt look after him any more. I have since visited her and she has not seen him at all. He spent every night with us for the short time I had him and I miss him lots. I live on quite a busy road so that worries me, although he seemed to be aware of the traffic. The location is St Peters Rise, Headley Park, which is South Bristol. I have put posters up and put flyers out, still no luck. Charley is microchipped and is now registered to my address, although the name he was given originally was 'Sasha' by the elderly lady, I renamed him Charley, but the microchip info will be listing him as Sasha, my local vets (Avon Lodge) has been given the information that he is missing.
