A CAT whose disappearance sparked fears a cat-napper was on the loose has returned home.

Minnie, an 18-month-old tortoise shell cat, disappeared from her home in Suffolk Road, Dartford, on October 13, leaving behind her two kittens.

She was the third cat belonging to Vivienne Duffield to go missing in a year, and the 51-year-old feared a villain was stealing cats from her neighbourhood.

However, earlier this month Minnie returned home in good health, and Mrs Duffield says she is “incredibly relieved”.

The accounts assistant said: “I was very overwhelmed at seeing her and knowing that she is now safe.”

Mrs Duffield shares her home with 14 other cats and her husband 62-year-old Michael, and she says they had all missed Minnie, who had been living with them for four months before disappearing.
