Abbots Langley woman offers reward for safe return of her missing cat
The frantic owner of a missing cat from Abbots Langley has offered a £100 reward for the safe return of her pet.
Victoria, an eight-month-old black and white cat with very long whiskers, was last seen on Friday, November 20, in the afternoon, at her home in The Garth, Abbots Langley.
Her owner, Jan Anderson, 61, who is semi-retired, but works to escort disabled children, has been left “absolutely devastated” since her disappearance.
She said: “Victoria was being kept inside the house as she was due to be spayed this week.
“I had a delivery at the door and she got out and has not been seen since.
“I’m distraught. I miss her so deeply - after all it is my job to keep her safe.
“I’ve been up early every day registering her on ‘missing’ internet sites and I’ve had no feedback at all, that’s why I’m offering a reward of £100 for the safe return of my Victoria.”
Missing cat Victoria is black with a white chest, three white paws and a fourth black and white paw.
Apart from registering her missing cat on internet sites, Ms Anderson has also gone door-to-door distributing leaflets, in the hope that someone will come forward with news of Victoria.
She said: “She usually sleeps on my pillow, but now it’s completely empty.
“I’m beside myself with worry as she’s out there somewhere, cold and hungry.
"I live on my own and my cats are my world."
Anyone who has seen Victoria is asked to telephone Ms Anderson on 07883192581 and a £100 reward is being offered for her safe return.
